Author Talk Presentation Schedule:

11:00 am: Marketing on a Budget for Authors with Ericka Glorious Moore

You don't need a big budget to make a big impact. In this interactive workshop, you'll 
discover practical, budget-friendly strategies to build your author brand, attract readers, and 
create new opportunities. Learn how to design a vendor table that stands out, grow your 
audience through newsletters and social media, and turn your book into speaking 
engagements and increased book sales. Because at the end of the day, your book is your 
product—but you are the brand.

11:45 am: Integrating Improv into English Language Arts with Kate Wiersema

Tired of your same old ELA lessons? Aren't we all. Come learn some basic games that can bring fun to your primary and middle grade class! 

12:30 pm: How Radical Self Love Can Transform Your Life with Rosalind Brown

Explore what true happiness means to each of us in the interactive presentation. Incorporating excerpts from her book, Rosalind Brown focuses on "turning poison into medicine," a concept that allows individuals to take unpleasant life events and turn them into positive outcomes. Learn how radicial, unconditional self love can transform your entire life.

1:15 pm: What Most Readers Don't Know with Linda Matthews

Linda Matthews will share her journey to becoming an author and the many surprises she encountered along the way. Insight and resources will be provided for upcoming authors, along with a Q&A session.

2:00 pm: Inside the Mind of a Writer with Pete Thanos

What inspires a story? Join author Pete Thanos for an exploration of the creative process, from the first spark of an idea to the finished novel. Discover how classic films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, and Blade Runner, along with personal experiences and everyday observations, can become the foundation for unforgettable stories. Pete will discuss the importance of research, world-building, character development, and revision, while sharing how imagination and real life work together to create compelling fiction. Whether you're an aspiring writer, a devoted reader, or simply curious about where stories come from, this presentation offers a fascinating look inside the mind of a writer.
