2:00 pm: Inside the Mind of a Writer with Pete Thanos
What inspires a story? Join author Pete Thanos for an exploration of the creative process, from the first spark of an idea to the finished novel. Discover how classic films such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, and Blade Runner, along with personal experiences and everyday observations, can become the foundation for unforgettable stories. Pete will discuss the importance of research, world-building, character development, and revision, while sharing how imagination and real life work together to create compelling fiction.
