Who can get a library card?

- Access e-books, audiobooks, and movies online through Overdrive, Hoopla, and Kanopy.
- Learn a new language using Mango.
- Look up addresses and phone numbers online with A to Z Databases.
- Use library computers.
- Research your ancestry with Heritage Quest.
- Read a magazine on Flipster.
How do I get my library card?
- Stop at the front desk with your current ID.
How do I get a digital library card?
- Fill out the online library card registration form:
- English form (Get a card)
- Spanish form (Obtenga una tarjeta)
- Polish form (Zdobądź kartę)
- SWAN will automatically detect your home library.
- SWAN will issue you a barcode number.
- Download the SWAN mobile app.
- Sign in with your new library card number, and manage your account in the SWAN mobile app.
You no longer need a physical library card if you use the SWAN mobile app. If you still prefer a physical card, just come to the library with your photo ID showing your current address to sign up for a library card. Once you have a digital library card number, the library cannot issue you a card with that same number.
Does my library card expire?
Library cards do not expire unless you move to a different address or stop using your library card for 3 or more years.
