What is the Mobile Museum of Tolerance?
The Mobile Museums of Tolerance are free, interactive museums on wheels designed to educate students and community members about the Holocaust, Civil Rights, and the importance of empathy and inclusion. Guided by trained educators, visitors can expect engaging multimedia exhibits and discussions that encourage critical thinking and meaningful conversations around hate, tolerance, and human rights.
The Mobile Museum of Tolerance is an initiative of the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, California, which has welcomed millions of visitors since opening in 1993. The first Illinois Mobile Museum launched in Chicago in February 2021 and has continued traveling throughout the state to serve schools and communities.
No registration is required.
