"Holiday Blues" Round Table Discussion

The Holiday's are not always "Happy and Cheer". We are bombarded with unrealistic advertisements, coupled with our feelings of grief, and loss. This can be quite overwhelming and we may experience feelings of anxiety and depression. 

Attend the "Holiday Blues" round table discussion with Cecelia Bozeman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The round table discussion will help us to navigate these difficult emotions and develop ways to approach this season with a sense of wholeness and peace.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Join us at the library for a festive (and delicious!) decorating challenge! Kids and teens are invited to design their own sugar cookies using winter holiday themes—think snowflakes, gingerbread fun, sparkling lights, and more. Bring your creativity and your sweet tooth! All supplies will be provided. When the decorating is done, our judges will pick the most creative, cheerful, and beautifully decorated cookie.

Come for the cookies, stay for the fun! Registration is required--space is limited.

If you have food allergies or sensitivities, please use caution and contact the library in advance with any questions. For everyone’s safety, please decorate only with the ingredients provided at the event, avoid sharing partially eaten items, and wash or sanitize hands before participating.

Same event, new day and time! Join us for the Technicolor Teen Coloring Circle at the library! Unleash your creativity with vibrant colors, cool designs, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just looking to unwind, this is the perfect space to express yourself and connect with others. All coloring materials are provided—just bring your imagination!

Registration is encouraged, but not required.

Park Forest Library- Laugh Lounge

(for Adults & Seniors)

Available in-person at 6:00PM

New stand-up comedy series at the Park Forest Public Library! It's a seriously funny, professionally polished, and hosted by completely clean comedians. It's a grown-up night out when the comedy club comes to the library-with no cover and no need to leave your neighborhood.

Light refreshments will be available.

Ageless Strength & Mobility

-Available In-Person at the Library at 11:30am

Join us on designated days for an interactive, instructional fitness session with fan-favorite instructor Arlene Santiago! We've taken Chair Yoga and graduated into something even more exciting: Ageless Strength & Mobility!

This program is available in-person at the library.

Da Dopamine Project is a mental health organization focused on building introspective skills through creative expression. Join our instructor Jae'ln as they show participants how to channel their inner creativity with button making, drawing lessons, and more!
