Are you ready to laugh?! Most comedians you know and love have taken improv classes, and now it is YOUR chance! Come play games that work on teamwork, confidence, public speaking, and creative thinking! No experience necessary!

The instructor, Kate Wiersema, is a performer with over 15 years of experience. She is currently an ensemble member at ComedySportz Chicago and the artistic director of South of Chi Productions, a comedy collective based in Homewood, IL.  She is also a special education teacher and recently wrote a book about improv called, Playing to Learn: Using Improv in the K-8 Classroom. Join us for our monthly Friends of the Library meeting! Meeting in the Conference Room. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow library lovers, share ideas, and help support programs, events, and initiatives that make our library such a valuable community resource. Whether you're a long-time member or just curious about getting involved, all are welcome!

We'll be discussing what's new and next for the Friends as well as ways to advocate for our library. Your input and enthusiasm help make it all possible—we hope to see you there!
