Join us for a relaxing afternoon just for knitters, crocheters and more! Gather with knitters just like you to share ideas, techniques, and good conversation.

Bring your own knitting & crochet materials, or use the basic supplies provided.

No experience needed. All skill levels welcome

Please join Mr. Frank Sladek, Northern Illinois Urban Fishing Program Coordinator with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, to learn about the art of fishing.

You will learn:

• Basic fishing techniques

• Common fish in the area 

• Fishing resources related to local fishing opportunities and more.
