Young Author Spotlight: Broken Crayons by Karter Reed and Armanette Small-Reed

About this event
Join us for a special Young Author Spotlight featuring Karter Reed and Armanette Small-Reed, the co-authors of Broken Crayons!
The book, Broken Crayons, written by Karter Reed and Armanette Small-Reed, (grandson and grandmother) is a must-read, reader-friendly book that speaks about bullying and the way it makes children feel. The book speaks about the power of words both good and bad. It is the author's hope that this book will start conversations regarding bullying and how society needs to handle and approach the subject. The authors would really like to see parents take the oath with their children to help with the saying, “If you see something say something.”
