Silent Reading Circle

Join us on the second Thursday of every month from 4:00 pm through 6:00 pm for our brand new Silent Reading Circle!
At PFPL's Silent Reading Circle, there's no assigned reading. Participants are encouraged to bring in their book selection and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees will have the option to mingle with fellow readers and share what they're reading--or not! It's absolutely your choice!
Our Silent Reading Circle (SRC) is the perfect "book club" for introverts, as well as readers who go at their own pace and don't want to feel the pressure of deadlines. SRC also encourages the community to gather together in a simple, unplugged setting for socialization and read together in quiet camaraderie.
