Homeschooling Resources

Homeschooling Resources at PFPL

The Park Forest Public Library has added a wide range of curriculum materials for children K-8th grade.  We have assembled 16 kits for use by teachers, homeschoolers, parents, and independent learners.  All of our resources are designed to enrich curricula and student learning and cover a variety of topics chosen in cooperation with teachers, homeschoolers, and parents in the community.

Resources include books, CDs, games, and models chosen to appeal to a variety of learning styles and ages.  These resources are designed to meet the needs of elementary and middle school students.  We hope you enjoy this collection located at the end of our juvenile non-fiction collection in the kids' zone area.

Nature Explore Kits are available for in-house use only in the kids' zone.

For more information, call the kids' zone at 708-748-3731 ext. 241 or stop in to speak to a staff member.
