Q. If I have a "BILLED" item (Lost or Damaged), can I replace it myself without having the paying the library for a replacement?
A. Yes, but the item must be in the same format as the Lost or Damaged material. That means if the book was Hardcover it must be a Hardcover. If the DVD was a 2-Disc version, it must be that same version. Also, CDs/DVDs/Video Games must be new. No used items are accepted.
NO ex-library or ex-school copies are accepted. Ex-Library (aka ex-school) copies may have been rebound, had things pasted in, have glued down flaps on the dustjacket, have library labels or stickers on them, and all of the rest of the things which happen to books in libraries.
A service fee of $5.00 still applies in order to cover other costs such as a new barcode, misc labels, etc...
