ADULT SUMMER READING

 

Adult Summer Reading 2009

 

Adult Summer Reading is back and wilder than ever! The program runs from June 8 - July 31. Read as many books as you can for wild prizes.

 

Adult Summer Reading Guidelines

  1. Registration starts June 8.
  2. Read as many books as you can between June 8 and July 31.
  3. Check in at the Adult Services or Patron Services desk after you have read a book and collect prizes for reading 4, 8, and 12 books.
  4. Juvenile books do not count towards your total, but feel free to read Adult Fiction and Nonfiction, Young Adult Fiction and Nonfiction, and Audiobooks. Books do not need to be from the Park Forest Public Library collection to be eligible.
  5. Turn in your reading log by July 31 to either the Adult Services or Patron Services desk.

Pet Adoption Day
Saturday, June 13th from 11 am - 2 pm

Look for the adoption tent on our front lawn. The South Suburban
Humane Society will be bringing some adoptable pets, so stop by and open your heart to an animal in need.

Canine Demonstration
Saturday, June 13th at 12:30 pm

The Park Forest Police Department will give a canine demonstration outside during the Pet Adoption Day. See a police dog in action!
